Training
- Provided capacity building and technical assistance to grant recipients and fund seekers for The Cleveland Foundation’s faith-based Youth Preparation Program.
- Designed and led a three-day training session for faith-based liaisons in the U.S. Department of Housing.

- Directed training for the Neighborhood Reinvestment Corporation.
- Prepared and participated in the first four-city, simul-cast broadcasting of a training workshop for the National Congress for Community Economic Development.
- Created a faith-based informational website with Fannie Mae and the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston.
- Organized community economic development tracks at major ecumenical conferences, including the national Congresses on Urban Ministry and Christian Community Development Association.

- Consulted and trained scores of nonprofit and for-profit organizations across the nation in all aspects of housing rehabilitation and construction, program development, volunteerism, marketing, and financing.
- Served as the primary consultant to develop the first tele-visitation and mentoring program for women in Ohio prisons (Project IMPACT).
- Created four, 501(c)(3) organizations.
- Assisted the Cleveland Foundation in forming and evaluating a grants program to support faith-based organization.
- Conducted the preliminary evaluation for The Pew Charitable Trust’s FASTEN program.
- Developed a medical center, restaurant, and office space as part of a community economic development strategy.
- Rehabilitated a local community theater in cooperation with Carnegie Mellon University.
- Researched options for an urban community supermarket strategy.
- Developed a marketing study for a bakery run by prisoners in Brazil.
- Served as an economic development consultant for projects in Ghana, Ethiopia, Uganda, and Kenya.
- Taught an arts-based community development course to youth in Brazil.
- Researched and reported comparison of manufactured housing versus stick built housing.
- Developed a noncontiguous leasing cooperative with tax credit syndication.
- Initiated and managed a HUD-approved housing counseling program.
- Developed a housing rehabilitation program with local youth in partnership with the school district, the city and local banks.
- Launched the Christian Housing Partnership Program, CHPP, a success volunteer training program combining local and out-of-town church volunteers.
